The Peoria RC Modelers are committed to having fun and the safe operation of model aircraft.  The Peoria RC Modelers is an equal opportunity, not-for-profit organization and always welcomes new members.

Why join:

Members fly all types of model aircraft including fixed wing, helicopters, quadcopter and sail planes.  In addition, we host a number of events including war birds, pattern, combat and pylon racing.

Who is welcome:

All visitors are welcome anytime we are flying or come to a club meeting.

Qualifications to join:

To fly you must be a current member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics.

How to join:

First you must be a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics.  Then we ask you to fill out the Membership Application and bring the application to a meeting or send it to our Treasurer with your membership dues.

Club dues:

Club dues are $110 per year. If paid on or before the December club meeting the dues are $90.  Dues paid from the December meeting and January 1 are $100.  All members must belong to the Academy of Model Aeronautics.

Membership meetings:

Club business is conducted followed by discussion and/or a program.  Members are encouraged to bring models for show and tell or building and detailing suggestions.

Location and time of meetings:

The members meet May through September at 7pm at the field grounds unless there is bad weather. Then we meet at River Beach Pub.  From October through April the members meet at 6pm for food and the meeting will begin at 7pm.  Check the events page for the location.

Flight Instructions: 

The Peoria RC Modelers offers flight instruction as a free service to anyone requesting it. Contact a club officer for further information.

Flying Hours:

Flying hours are 8:00 AM until dusk 7 days a week.
